Our story

VietZone started as a print newsletter passed between nail salons, phở shops, and community centers across the Mid-Atlantic. Readers wanted news they couldn't find anywhere else — coverage of local business openings, cultural events, and the everyday concerns of Vietnamese American life — written in the languages their families actually speak at home. This site is that same newsletter, grown up: still community-first, still independently run, now reaching readers in English, Tiếng Việt, 한국어, and 中文.
